About this event
The Men's Book Group will meet for the first time on Thursday, May 30 at 7:30 p.m. via Zoom to discuss "Out of Africa" by Isak Dinesen. "Out of Africa" is a memoir of Dinesen's years in Africa, from 1914 to 1931, on a four-thousand-acre coffee plantation in the hills near Nairobi.
Interested men who are CC@H members or volunteers should get in touch with Bill Polk at wpolk@aol.com in advance of the meeting in order to receive the Zoom link.
The Men's Book Group expects meetings will be a mix of Zoom and in-person in Chevy Chase. For any questions, ideas, or preferences about types of books or meeting times, interested men can get in touch with Bill.
